Method
- If you have fresh ginger shred it with a cheese grater. Add it to a small pot and cover it with water. Bring to bowl and the turn off.
- In a mug, add your dry ingredients.
- Squeeze in the juice of the lemon half.
- Add your honey.
- Pour over with hot water either from the kettle or using the the freshly boiled ginger. (NOTE: Use a strainer to strain the ginger as you pour the hot water into your cup.)
- Stir to mix well.
- Let the Turmeric Tonic brew for about 3 minutes. Then, stir again.
- Carefully sip to enjoy!
