Method
- Set your air fryer to 400*
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to boil. Carefully place the clean, raw chicken in the boiling water allowing it to precook for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile as the chicken boils, create your seasoning mix. In a large bowl Mix all the dry ingredients and the seasonings with a fork. Set aside.
- Prepare the Buttery mix in a separate, medium size bowl by first melting 1/4 of the butter then pouring 1/4 cup of olive oil on top. Set aside.
- Carefully Remove the chicken out of the pot with tongs and place the wings in a large plate or casserole dish for seasoning.
- Sprinkle a dash of real salt and old bay directly on the wings covering all sides of each piece of chicken.
- Pour the Buttery mix in a large gallon bag then place all the seasoned wings in the bag. Seal and turn the bag with your hands ensuring all pieces are coated completely.
- Using tongs, remove one wing out of the bag at a time and place it in the seasoning bowl. Coat the chicken with the “flour” seasoning mix.
- Lay flat in the air fryer (tuck in the tips as you layer the chicken flat). Spray with olive oil spray and cook for 10 minutes & flip half way.
- Once it is cooked through, remove from air fryer. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with parsley.
